Recently at the Max Star Dust awards shahid and kareena were seated a few seats away as Shahid was seated alone, and kareena was accompanied by Saif’s Son Ibrahim.

When the famous astrologer Bejan Daruvalla was approached to predict the Kareena & Saif relationship he said that the relationship has to pass the whole 2008, then only anything can be said that whether their relationship will be ending up or may reach the sacred marriage destination.

Now, what is worth mentioning is that perhaps the success of Om Shanti Om has gone into the head of Deepika, who has let go an opportunity to work in a big budget film opposite South super star Rajnikanth only for the sake of money. This move may prove to be costly for Deepika and she may not even get the opportunity to make amends. For bollywood does not offer time to make amends.

Looks like commedian Vadivelu is expanding in leaps and bounds, not only in Kollywood but now in Bollywood too. The new addition to the list is actor Amir Khan. Aamir Khan has shared this information to Murugadas, who directs his Gajini in Hindi.

It was a heated debate in the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly on Monday about the revealing and skimpy dresses that Namitha wore as the judge of a dance show telecast on a private television channel and Shriya Saran wore at silver jubilee function of Shivaji movie in which the CM had also taken part.

T Velmurugan of PMK started the debate by attacking the television channels and the film industry for spoiling Tamil culture and tradition through obscene scenes and lyrics. The PMK was of the opinion that there should be a law imposing a dress code for actresses like Shriya and Namitha who come out in revealing clothes for public functions.

Public Works Minister Durai Murugan and Electricity Minister Arcot Veerasamy responded by saying that the actresses can only be advised to dress appropriately and that there can’t be a yardstick to judge obscenity.

Besides PMK, the Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK) had also objected to the way Shriya Saran was dressed at the film function and filed a police complaint against her. In respose to this the actress had sent an apology letter to the Chennai Police and the Chief Minister. In her apology letter she has said that she was coming from Istanbul in Turkey, where she was shooting for the Hindi film Mission Istanbul, to attend the function, she had no time to change her dress.

It seems after Kapoor sisters (Karisma and Kareena) Kaif sisters are all set to rock Bollywood.

Mobile handset manufacturer Sony Ericsson on Thursday unveiled its two entry level handsets — ‘R300i’ and ‘R306i’ — that will be launched in the Indian market in the second half of 2008. The company also said it would increase the number of retail outlets to 300 by 2009. Addressing a press conference, Sony Ericsson Mobile Communication General Manager Sudhin Mathur said the two handsets, priced between Rs. 3,500 and Rs. 5,000, had been designed exclusively for India and would be manufactured at its Chennai plant. The new ‘radio phones’ would provide advanced features, including radio recording, VGA/1.3 megapixel camera, bluetooth and GPRS.

According to Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications Head (Asia Pacific) Lennard Hoornik: “India is an important market for us. In 2007, we announced plans for manufacturing and R&D in India. To continue the momentum, and to further our commitment in India, I am pleased to announce our very first models designed for the Indian consumer and manufactured in India.” The company had earlier said its manufacturing capacity will touch one crore units by 2009. It now manufactures its J110i, J120i, J121i and W200i models in its Indian facility.

Looks like the former miss world has finally signed on the dotted lines to act in Superstar Rajinikanth’s forthcoming movie Robot.

The buzz is that the Bollywood beauty has been paid a bomb of 1.5 crores for the movie and it is said to be the highest amount ever paid to an actress. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is said to have confirmed to the media in an interview to a popular channel that she is doing Shankar’s Robot.

There is news that Salman Khan had a fatwa issued against him as he allowed his life like image to be portrayed by Madame Tussauds.

According to Muslim law and religion, depiction of living creatures is illegal. Anyone who tries to break rules will have a fatwa- a legal opinion issued against him/her.

Madame Tussauds is a very famous museum in London, which is known for its art and skill in making life like images.

Earlier there were reports that the couple which has been together, for almost three years had a spat on the sets of Zinta’s new film Heaven on Earth, when she was shooting in Toronto. the reports added that zinta was totally focused on her professional commitments and neglected Ness, who accompanied her for the shooting of the film Heaven On Earth, and the director of that film Deepa Mehta, was also very tough taskmaster and she also made Preity shoot rigorously, and as a result Ness got vexed with Preity’s commitments and returned to Mumbai. Later on it was reported that Preity got miffed with Ness, against his rude act of returning to Mumbai and moved to London on a solo holiday.

Finally,Preity opened up and also confirmed that all was going on well between her and her boyfriend and also sarcastically thanked the media, for showing a huge interest in her personnel life.
