Audio launch of “Dasavatharam“, which was scheduled to be held in March, is now postponed to April 2nd. The chief guest at the audio launch function will be Asia’s biggest action hero Jackie Chan.

The audio launch which was scheduled to be held on March 14 has been postponed to suit Jackie Chan’s availability.

Dream come true for Nayanthara

It was just a treat to watch the two hot celebrities of the Kollywood Industry, Vijay and Nayanthara, to dance for a single item song in the movie Sivakasi. But since then everybody wanted to see the two share the screen for entire 3 hours. And that approximately came true. The two were opted for the movie, Kuruvi. But later on, due to some unavoidable reasons, Nayanthara had to withdraw and then Trisha was selected for the lead role.

But seems that the dreams of many to see Nayanthara and Vijay together, is going to come true. It has been found that, the two would be sharing the screen, for the next project which is to be directed by Prabhu Deva. So after all, now, we are going to have a yet another treat to see the two on the screen.

SRK and Karan Johar join hands

When the SRK and Karan Johar join hands, one thing is for sure, its gonna be a sure hit. Yes its all the great news and the project of SRK with Karan Johar, in 2009. It has been found that we would see the most beautiful on-screen couple once again. It would SRK sharing the screen with the most beautiful actress Kajol, for the film Khan. Initially the title was My Name is Khan. But it has been transformed to Khan.

This movie would deal, with the problems faced by the Muslims after the 9/11 attack, in US. SRK himeself had to face severe problems, when he was detained at an airport in London, for his name ends up with Khan. Even after stating that he was a celebrity, the authorities, oragnized a special check-up, for him and then allowed him in. But this role provided by Karan in the film, would be a dream come true for SRk, in some or the other way. SRK has been dying to play the role of a terrorist on the screen, and now he would do in the Khan.

Karan had nothing more to say to our correspondent regarding this and also added that, it would be a 2009 release. This movie would allow KJo, to get rid of the family stories, for now.

MP High Court gives clean chit to Jodhaa Akbar.
The fans of Hrithik and Aishwariya in Madhya Pradesh can heave a sigh of relief, as Jodha Akbar has been cleared off the ban. The High Court gave the verdict in the favor of UTV Motion Pictures.

Siddhart Roy Kapur, director of UTV Motion Pictures said,”The Madhya Pradesh High Court has ruled in favour of UTV and we are commencing the screening of Jodhaa Akbar immediately across the state. This is a huge boost to all advocates of creative freedom in our country, and we are very grateful to the court for recognizing the validity of our stand and allowing Jodhaa Akbar to resume screenings.”

Director Aushotosh Gowariker was also relieved and happy with the court verdict. He exclaimed, “The film portrays love between two cultures and religions through a marriage of alliance between a Mughal emperor and a Rajput princess. This is an alliance that took place 450 years ago; an alliance that we need to respect, admire and learn from even today. He also adds that a disclaimer had been inserted at the start of the film saying that the film is a work of fiction and it draws from history but at the same time it is not the exact representation of it and there can be other viewpoints.”

MP walo now you can hit the theatres with vengeance as you can’t afford to miss the sizzling chemistry between Hrithik and Aishwariya.

Sujatha (72), Tamil writer, passed away

Sujatha (72), well-known contemporary Tamil writer, passed away in Chennai due to brief illness.

He has written over 100 novels, 200 short stories, essays stage plays, and popular articles and Q&A on science. His real name is S. Rangarajan.

An engineer, Sujatha was the Chief of the team that designed the EVM or the Electronic Voting Machine during his tenure in Bharat Electronics as General Manager of R & D The machine is presently used in elections all over India.

His simple articles on science and technology for Tamil weeklies such as Ananda Vikadan, Kumudam and Kalki were appreciated by all ages.

Our sincere condolences to his family and friends.
